We serve small and medium-sized businesses without large in-house technical expertise. Our ideal clients recognize technology as a potential competitive advantage but may need guidance on how to implement it effectively. Capabilities
Can you advise on technical strategy? I have a business problem but not sure where to start.
Yes, we can provide short term (under a year) to a long term (3-5 years) strategy map in order to prepare your business for upcoming changes, capture of a new customer segment or M&A - while reducing the risk of technical missteps.
Can you help to improve our internal IT team processes?
We would love an opportunity to work with your team! We don’t advocate for a single-method-fits-all approach. We can help to match your team work process to your business, industry and client needs. In addition to improving the processes, we can help with skill development, job description crafting and hiring the right people.
Can you help with the legacy software problem?
We’ve done our share of technology archeology. We start by analyzing your legacy systems to understand their current value and limitations. Based on this assessment, we recommend whether to augment, integrate, upgrade, or replace your existing software, prioritizing the approach that delivers the most business value with the least disruption.
I am buying a business. Can you help to analyze digital assets and calculate improvement budget?
Think of us are your home inspector. After analysis you will have a score card with approximate budgets to be used in your purchasing decisions or negotiations and post-acquisition planning.
I need to reduce software costs for my company. Can you help?

What geographical areas do you serve?
We serve clients throughout the United States. For clients in Southwest Virginia, we may offer in-person meetings. For everyone else, we provide the same high-quality service through video conferences, phone, email, and collaborative online tools.
How do we get started?
The process begins with a brief conversation about your business challenges. Email us a description of your situation, and we’ll respond within 24 hours to schedule a no-obligation initial consultation. If there’s potential for us to help, we’ll propose a structured approach starting with a thorough assessment of your specific needs.
How do I know you can help with my specific problem?
We are pragmatic problem-solvers with 25+ years of experience delivering business technology solutions. During our initial conversation, we’ll be candid about whether we can help. If your needs fall outside our expertise, we’ll tell you directly and, when possible, suggest alternative resources better suited to your situation.
How do you communicate during projects?
We believe in two principles: constant meetings are evil, and overcommunication is essential. We provide access to a shared workspace containing all project files, updates, and questions. For busy executives, we send automated weekly summaries highlighting progress, upcoming milestones, and any decisions needed from you.
Do you subcontract your services?
Not typically. We may occasionally collaborate with highly qualified and personally vetted specialists for specific aspects of a project, but we remain fully responsible for all deliverables and serve as your single point of contact throughout the engagement.
Do you require long-term contracts?
No. We offer a monthly retainer service that reserves your time slot, but you may pause or cancel at any time with appropriate notice. We prefer to earn your continued business through results rather than contractual obligations.
